F I T N E S S 💪 Gosh, I’ve loved slowly getting back into the exercise since having Lily. For the first 3 months, it was pretty much all about pounding the pavement with the girls in the pram. Have you pushed a toddler and newborn up a hill in a pram? It's darn hard work. I’m sure it’s the equivalent to pushing 50kgs up Everest ⛰ — At about 3 months postpartum, I decided to join a gym with a crèche, and it’s been the best decision ever. I’ve been doing easier classes such as Pilates and Yoga, focussing on regaining strength and have recently started slowly jogging on the treadmill. For me, exercise has nothing to do with the scales ⚖️ it’s all about the mental benefits I get from it. I feel totally energised after a session, and I think it helps me deal with those toddler tantrums (not always... gosh they can be tough!). - I’ve also been doing the odd @gozwift session which I love. What is Zwift you might be thinking. Well, it’s a way or riding your bike indoors with people from all over the world. There’s a really cool ladies group ride on a Tuesday night which I’ve started doing, and I love it. Keen to know more, just ask.
